Renoir
Igazi szenzációnak lehetünk tanúi: Renoir életmű kiállítást csodálhatunk meg a Szépművészeti Múzeumban. Kedvem lenne a múzeumba költözni, hogy hosszabban élvezhessem azt az életörömöt, amit a kiállítás sugároz. Olyan festő-géniusz nyújtja át nekünk festményeiben az élet szeretetét, aki élete derekától egyre súlyosbodó sokízületi gyulladásban szenvedett. “Renoir élete csodálatos példája az emberi akarat betegség feletti diadalának…Mélységes derűjét megőrizte mindvégig, bénuló kezével, termékeny, élettől kicsattanó asszonyokat és csodálatos tájakat fest” - írja dr. László Katalin az irodalmiradio.hu-n. Ars poeticaja: sosem használ tisztán fekete szint, egy kép legyen mindig szívmelengető és vidám. Mint mondta: “A tragédiát mások jobban kifejezik.” Úgy tartotta, hogy “a fájdalom elmúlik, a szépség megmarad.” Nem tudott lemondani arról, hogy utolsó leheletéig dolgozzon. Azt hajtogatta: “Még sokat kell fejlődnöm, amíg erőmből telik, folytatom.”
Igazi kulturális élvezet végignézni a 60 alkotói év 70 alkotását.
Sok cikk méltatta már a fantasztikus kiállítást, én csupán a kurátor, Kovács Anna Zsófia által elmondott illetve a képekhez fűzött “sztorik”-ból idézek fel néhányat, azokkal sokkal közelebb kerül hozzánk a művész és alkotásai.
A hinta (1876)
Egyik leghíresebb impresszionista festménye, az impresszionista művészet zászlóshajója is lehetne. Egy hangulatos életkép: egy szép kertben egy flörtölés pillanatának megörökítése.Valódi témája azonban a fény, ahogyan beszűrődve játszadozik a kék, sárga, fehér és zöld színekkel megmutatva “ a francia rokokó és a montmartre-i vidám társaság szórakozásait.” “Szinte invitál bennünket, hogy lépjünk be a képbe.” A Musee Montmartre kertjében ma is részesei lehetünk az élménynek, még a hinta is megtalálható ott.
Önarckép (1879)
Renoir ritkán festett képet önmagáról. Ez a kisméretű kép betölti a teret érdekes látásmódjával. A fürkésző, élénk tekintet mögött sejteti az aggodalmas, szorongó belsőt. Ezt ellensúlyozza munkásságában mindvégig azzal, hogy vidám és harmonikus alkotásokat festett. E képen a festő merengő arcát ellenpontozza egy szőke, pirospozsgás,boldogságot sugárzó női arc elmosódott, víziószerű felderengése.
Vidéki tánc (1883)
Az egyik legismertebb, rendkívül hangulatos alkotása már nem az impresszionizmus jegyeit hordozza magán, rajzosabb, visszafogottabb a festésmód, ugyanakkor erőteljes színekkel ábrázolja a magával ragadó táncot. A földre hullott szalmakalap, a likőrös pohár, a szalvéta, a csésze az asztalon azt a pillanatot ragadja meg, amikor a zeneszó hallatán a pár spontán táncba kezd. És még milyen érdekesek a modellek! A férfi Paul L’Hote festő, Renoir barátja és a nő Aline Charigot modell, aki 1990-ben Renoir felesége és gyermekei anyja lett.
A kép a kiállításon illusztrációként is megjelenik - Renoir öccsének, Edmond Renoirnak a L’Etiquette’ c. novellájához.
Renoir múzsái
“Ha felsorolnánk a festő kedveseit, a legrövidebb életrajzi adatokat megadva mindegyikükről, akkor a lista vaskos kötetet jelentene.” ( gigafox.hu)
Az impresszionista korszakában Lisa Treo volt a modellje és szeretője, de később férjhez ment és így befejeződött viszonyuk. Ekkor a szemközti tejüzemben megismerkedett egy 20 évvel fiatalabb lánnyal, Aline-nel. “Aline, aki sokat tudott a jó konyháról és a jó borról, csodálatos felesége lett a művésznek.”.Fiai dajkája, Gabrielle, szintén modellje és szeretője volt.Számos kép őrzi alakját: pl. a fekvő aktokból kettő is. Élete utolsó éveiben, felesége halála után és Gabrielle eltűnésével, egy modellnek jelentkező szinésznő-táncos-énekes lány bársonyos bőre, nőies alakja babonázta meg Renoirt- Andree. Sok szép akt kép idézi fel őt pl. a harmadik vörös hajú fekvő akt. Később Renoir fiának, a felesége lett. Jean Renoir világhírű filmrendezőként vonult be a filmtörténelembe, Andree pedig Catherine Hesslingként a némafilmek sztárjaként vált híressé.
A három fekvő akt ( 1903)
A kiállítás egyik fénypontja a három nagyméretű, gyönyörű női akt. Azért is nézzük elragadtatással ezeket, mert a középen elhelyezett a miénk, a Szépművészeti Múzeumé, a baloldali a Musee d’ Orangerie adta kölcsön, míg a jobboldali a Musee d’Orsay tulajdona. A modellek: a fekete hajú Gabrielle, míg a vörös hajú Andree Heuschling,
A fürdőzők (1918)
Grandiózus utolsó művét egy évig festette.Az egészséget, életerőt sugárzó aktok egyben a festés örömét is szimbolizálják. Egy üvegezett szabadtéri műteremben készült, mert ekkor már a művész nem volt képes elhagyni a házat. A ragyogó színek sokáig fogva tartják a látogatókat. A tárlaton elhelyezett festőpaletta jól mutatja, hogy milyen kevés szín felhasználásával milyen színpompás művet alkotott a művész. Matisse a világ legszebb művének aposztrofálta a “Fürdőzőket.”
Ízelítőül ennyi fért bele a cikk kereteibe.. Aki boldognak akarja érezni magát, feltétlenül meg kell látogatnia ezt a páratlan kiállítást. Igazi élmény!

Renoir
Renoir's oeuvre is on display at the Museum of Fine Arts. I would like to recommend a visit to the museum to enjoy the joie de vivre that the exhibition exudes. The love of life is conveyed in the paintings of a painter-genius who suffered from worsening polyarthritis from the middle of his life onwards.
"Renoir's life is a wonderful example of the triumph of the human will over illness...He retained his profound serenity to the end, painting with his paralysed hands, fertile women bursting with life and wonderful landscapes", writes Katalin László on irodalmiradio.hu. His Ars poetica is never to use a purely blacktone, a picture should always be heart-warming and joyful. As he said, "Tragedy is better expressed by others." He believed that "pain passes, beauty remains." He could not give up working until his last breath. He kept saying, "I still have a lot to improve, as long as I have the strength, I will continue."
It is a real cultural treat to see 70 works from 60 years of creative work.
I will be mentioning and quoting some bits of Zsofia Kovacs Anna Kovacs' stories which she recounted regarding the pictures of the exhibition, and by doing so, both the author and his artworks will come closer to us.
The Swing (1876)
One of his most famous Impressionist paintings, it could be regarded as the flagship of Impressionist art. An atmospheric portrait of life: a moment of flirtation in a beautiful garden, but its real subject is light, filtering through the blue, yellow, white and green colours, showing "the amusements of the French Rococo and the gay society of Montmartre." "It almost invites us to enter the picture." In the gardens of the Musee Montmartre, we can still be part of the experience today, even the swings are there.
Self-portrait (1879)
Renoir rarely painted a picture of himself. This small-scale painting fills the space with its intriguing vision. Behind the searching, lively gaze, it hints at a worried, anxious interior. He counterbalances this throughout his work by painting cheerful and harmonious works. In this picture, the pensive face of the painter is counterpointed by the blurred, visionary brightening of a blonde, blushing, happy female face.
Country Dance (1883)
One of his best-known and highly atmospheric works of art that no longer bears the hallmarks of Impressionism, but instead it bears a more graphic, restrained painting style. At the same time, it depicts a captivating dance in strong colors. The straw hat on the floor, the liqueur glass, the napkin, the cup on the table all capture the moment when the couple spontaneously dance to the sound of music.
.And how interesting the models are! The man is the painter Paul L'Hote, a friend of Renoir, and the woman is the model Aline Charigot, who became Renoir's wife and the mother of his children in 1890.
The picture will also appear in the exhibition as an illustration - for Renoir's brother Edmond Renoir's short story 'L'Etiquette'.
Renoir's muses

Lisa Treo was his model and lover during his Impressionist period, but he later married and their affair ended. He then met a girl 20 years his junior, Aline, at the dairy farm across the road. "Aline, who knew a lot about good cooking and good wine, became a wonderful wife for the artist".His sons' nanny, Gabrielle, was also his model and mistress.His figure is preserved in several paintings, including two of the reclining nudes. In the last years of his life, after his wife's death and Gabrielle's disappearance, Renoir was bewitched by the velvety skin and feminine figure of a model actress-dancer-singer. Many beautiful nude pictures evoke her, e.g. the third red-haired reclining nude. She later became the wife of Renoir's son. Jean Renoir went down in film history as a world-famous film director, while Andree became famous as Catherine Hessling, the star of silent films.
The Three Reclining Nudes ( 1903)
One of the highlights of the exhibition is the trio of large, beautiful female nudes. We are also fascinated by them because the one in the middle belongs to the Museum of Fine Arts, the one on the left is on loan from the Musee d'Orangerie and the one on the right belongs to the Musee d'Orsay. The models are Gabrielle with black hair and Andree Heuschling with red hair,
The Bathers (1918)
His grandiose final work was painted over a year.The nudes that radiate health and vitality, also symbolise the pleasure of painting. It was painted in a glassed-in open-air studio, as the artist was no longer able to leave the house. The brilliant colours keep visitors captivated for a long time. A palette of paintings on display shows how the artist created such a colourful work using so few colours. Matisse called "The Bathers" the most beautiful work in the world.
This was just to give you a taste of Renoir and the exhibition featuring some of his best works, as this is all we managed to fit into this short article.
